Cost Positioning
This approach reviews the relative costs of the existing services and evaluates the existing position and value generated by the relationship between price realized and cost to serve. Analyzes the scale and utilization of the existing facilities for near term and long term cost opportunities. If structurally advantaged or disadvantaged by costs recommends enabling or compensating actions.
Strengths: Evaluates objective cost elements. Provides direct feedback on attribute value to costs and sustainability of existing and likely future positioning.
